January 17, 2009, beautiful warm sunny day.
First thing out of the car was a little rabbit.
Bigish surf, but no wind.
Lots of shore birds and we saw grey whales in pretty close to shore.
Went a few miles south to Ano Nuevo. Saw a dead sea otter on the way back. These are not so common. Contacted the group that monitors them and had an exchange of info and photos.
